company to film your wedding or event, you are
purchasing a service. Any company worth hiring is going
to use professional cameras and professional audio gear.
Poklop Video is no different in this regard. But not
every company is willing to put in the pre-event
planning to take the guesswork out of your video. Let's
face facts. The more hours a videographer has to put in
your project filming, editing, and authoring your dvd,
the less money per hour he/she makes. Because of this,
the pressure to finish a project quickly and begin the
next project is enormous.
This is unfortunate
because if the company has two or three wedding recorded
from a particular weekend, odds are, your footage may
not get the attention it deserves during post
production. Often times, "good enough" becomes the
standard instead of "the best it can be."
At Poklop Video, we
pledge not to accept more than three weddings or major
events per month. This ensures your video will receive
our full attention during the pre-service planning, time
commitments on your wedding day, and the time intensive
